Lily Graham was born in Johannesburg, and is a former journalist. She is an internationally best-selling author of historical fiction. With titles such as The Last Restaurant in Paris, Her Forgotten Hours, The Only Light in London, The Paris Secret, The Island Villa, The Child of Auschwitz, among others, which have been translated into over eighteen languages.

She lives now along the Suffolk coast with her husband and dog.
