  1. Just read The Paris Secret…….beautifully written and unputdownable. The characterisation was so vivid….especially DuPont….that I felt I was watching a film – and what a good one it would make! Can’t wait to read the Island Villa.

  2. Dear Lily
I have just read A Cornish Christmas. I loved it! I annoyed my husband as I kept the light on reading into the small hours. I am a busy mum and am exhausted by the end of the day but my love of reading means I can’t go to sleep without first having read. Books therefore need to be easy reading but also have substance to them. I read A Paris Secret and loved that too. Your books are easy to read but also have depth, are beautifully written and your characters are real and multi faceted. I loved the Thursday Club gang and how magically you made Ivy’s
3 a.m meetings with her mum work so beautifully. I was not expecting the traumatic turn of events at the end of A Cornish Christmas. I had tears streaming down my face. I cannot praise you enough. I am so pleased to have discovered your work and can’t wait to start Child of Auschitz which is on my bedside table. Thank you and Happy New Year.
